A more focused, applied session using the MIA Accessibility Guide as its framework, alongside wider accessibility best practice, and the Diversity Alliance audit. This session will walk attendees through how to implement key recommendations across their event design and delivery. Objectives: • Work through the guide's key areas and what good looks like in practice • Address common barriers to implementation, including budget, venue constraints and supplier relationships and knowledge • Share tools, resources and frameworks members can apply immediately • Discuss how to make the internal case for accessible event design
